Being obsessed by vintage, I have accumulated quite a large list of vintage online shops now, so I decided to share my personal top ten with you here:
1. Adorevintage
That store is indeed my favourite. This California based vintage online shop is run by Rodelee and she seems to find the loveliest dresses and the most amazing 1950′s skirts. I would really recommend her store, if you are looking for something to wear for a wedding or party. The shop owner also writes an inspiring blog about vintage clothing and interiors.
- Products: Vintage clothing from the 1900s up to the 1980s, mostly dresses and skirts from the 1950s and 1960s, but also lingerie, swimwear and jewelry.
- Price range: average, but lots of things get put on sale regularily
- Shipping: will ship internationally, shipping to the US is 7.00$, international shipping costs depend on weight, from 10.50$ up to 75.50$ for heavier items
2. I ♥ Vintage
This Vintage online shop is located in the Netherlands and has a huge stock of all sorts of vintage clothing, particulary shoes and dresses from the 1970′s and 1980′s.
- Products: Vintage lothing from the 1940′s to the 1990′s with a large collection of shoes and boots
- Price range: moderate, most dresses cost from around 30.00 € to 50.00 €, shoes from around 19.00 €
- Shipping: will ship internatinally, shipping to the Netherlands is 5.95 €, within the EU 7.95 to 18.80, however they do not charge shipping on orders over 100 €, shipping outside of the EU varies from 18.80 € to 24.30.
I think this store is one of the most popular around. It’s an Ebay-Shop, but it also offers Buy-it-now pieces. At Mama Stone Vintage you’ll find lots of 1970′s boho dresses, gunne sax dresses and leather jackets with fur trim. If you’re into the 70′s this is your place to go to.
- Products: Lots of 1970′s boho dresses, hippie dresses and maxi skirts, leather jackets and wool coats.
- Price range: average, this store is among the pricier ones, dresses cost from around 50 $ to 100 $.
- Shipping: will ship internationally and is around 11.00 $ for a dress.
This Etsy-Shop sells quite avariety of vintage shoes, boots and bags at very reasonable prices
- Products: mostly shoes and boots from the 1970′s and 1980′s
- Price range: budget, you can grab a bargain for under 20.00 $ here
- Shipping: 7.00 $ to the US, rest of the world 13.00 $
Among Etsy-Shops this is another one from my favourites list. This vintage online shop is based in New York and sells an ecclectic mix of vintage clothing from the 1970′s and 1980′s.
- Products: You can find pretty much a bit of everything here: shoes, bags, skirts, dresses, rompers and skirts
- Price range: budget, you may find a skirt for 10 $ here
- Shipping: will ship internationally, 5.00 $ up to 10.00 $ overseas for a skirt
6. Oldage
This is another favourite Etsy-Store of mine. In Oldage’s vintage online shop you can find quite an impressive amount of 1960′s mod dresses at reasonable prices.
- Products: lots of dresses, mostly from the 1960′s
- Price range: moderate, dresses cost around 40.00 €
- Shipping: will ship internationally, around 10.00 $ overseas
This vintage online shop is your place to go to, if you’re looking for designer vintage clothing. You might find a pair of vintage chanel shoes or even the coveted quilted Chanel bags there.
- Products: Vintage designer clothing and high quality vintage
- Price range: upper price range, expect to pay around 80.00 $ to 350 $ for shoes, and 75.00 $ up to 900.00 $ for designer clothing.
- Shipping: free shipping within the US, international shipping is 15.00 $ to 25.00 $.
Absolute Vintage is located in the UK and caries a large stock of vintage dresses and shoes. This shop also sells menswear.
- Products: mostly dresses and shoes from the 1970′s and 1980′s, sweaters and shirts for men.
- Price range: moderate, dresses cost around 25.00 £.
- Shipping: will ship internationally, prices depend on the specific item.
9. Beyond Retro
I hadn’t found out, that they also have an online shop until recently. The amount of vintage you can buy there is quite impressive. They have almost everything in stock, including ugly Christmas sweaters from the 1990′s.
- Products: vintage clothing from the UK mostly from the 1970′s to the 1990′s
- Price range: moderate, dresses cost around 25.00 £
- Shipping: will ship internationally, international shipping costs are around 10.00 £
This vintage online shop offers quite a variety of beautiful party dresses. If you’re looking for something special to wear to a wedding, including your own wedding or if you love 1950′s party dresses, this place is the right one for you.
- Products: mostly party and cocktail dresses from the 1950′s
- Price range: upper price range, but these dresses are very delicate and hard to find, also in excellent condition.
- Shipping: will ship internationally, the shipping costs are based on the weight of the item
